There is a project to found The Youth Theatre after V.N. Tatischev as soon as there is a first group of graduates. Also the graduates may work in the city and regional theatres.

During the training period the students are taught the history of Art, of cinema, actor’s technique, the stage speech, the stage fight, movement, riding, fencing, etc. The faculty outlooks for the future are to found national theatres (a unique event for Russia).

Entrance exams:

• creative competition (fable, poem – 3 min., prose – extract of narrative prose – 3 min., a sketch as a task of the Commission, a song – by entrant’s choice)

• Russian language – test / result of single state exam

Course of training lasts 4 years.

The faculty of Humanities cooperates with the AutoVAZ and other city enterprises, organizations and institutions.

040104 – Work management with the youth

Qualification: specialist for work with the youth

Field of activity of a graduate specialist:

• work management in youth associations in places of habitation, study, work, rest

• interaction and co-operation with associations and organizations supporting interests of young people

• support of information research of young people and youth’s politics, interaction with youth mass media

• assistance at employment and business initiative of young people

• assistance at development of international youth co-operation

• participation in civil patriotic education of young people

• assistance at sports and health improving youth organizations

• management and support of youth projects and programs

• support of youth initiatives of today

Objects of professional activity:

• legal institutions regulating and defending rights and interests of young people of 14-30 years of age

• municipal, state, non-government organizations and institutions supporting state youth’s politics and working with young people

• organizations, institutions and enterprises having young people studying, working or staying there

• official and non-official youth’s associations

• Federal and regional executive authority, local government authority

Professional activity may be: research, informative, educational, management, preventive, consulting.

Objects of professional activity: newspapers, magazines, information agencies, TV and radio, network mass media, information and advertising service, public relations structures.

Students have an opportunity to study 4 foreign languages:

• English

• German / French (by choice) from the second year of education

• Spanish / Italian (option)

The faculty is equipped with a computer room, a language laboratory. The students have a chance to see DVD films and to be trained by contemporary domestic and foreign methods.
