International Department

The main purposes of international activity of Volzhsky University after V.N. Tatischev is to integrate into the global educational space as a partner with equal rights; to improve the quality of education in order to prepare the graduate specialists of better quality; to develop research and academic as well as cultural interaction with overseas institutions of higher education.

The International Department was established to contribute to these purposes as a coordinator.

The main objectives of the International Department are to develop promising forms, ways and directions of international activity of the University; to provide information for international cooperation for each structural department; to involve research and educational staff, post-graduates and undergraduates of the University in participation in international projects and programmes; to coordinate joint efforts of each structural unit of the University (faculties, chairs, services) to realize projects in the field of international activity.

Free courses of English and German for the staff and professors of the University have been arranged with the assistance of International Office. Students of the University are offered the courses at a discount.
